Ichigo Kurosaki, the Central character, of Bleach
Since the day of Bleach’s premiere, I have been a huge fan of Ichigo Kurosaki, the main protagonist of the series. He was the first character of the series, which we all met, as he received Soul Reaper powers, and started fighting to save people from evil spirits known as hollows and to send good souls, called wholes to the Soul Society. The character of Ichigo is not limited to the animated series only, but it was also seen in two feature films of the series, two original video animations and in several video games as well.
Let’s talk about his looks. Ichigo is a 15 year old guy with natural orange hair. Having extraordinary hair was a troubling factor for many bullies in school and it resulted in, Ichigo having occasional fights with them….. an enjoying activity for Ichigo. Ichigo came to accidentally possess spiritual powers and has the guts to serve as the Soul Reaper captain. In the beginning of the series, Ichigo’s life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, in his bedroom in the middle of the night. He unintentionally absorbed her powers, in the middle of a hollow attack. Rukia Kuchiki was injured in the fight. She made Ichigo the Soul Reaper and asked him to kill the hollow. While carrying out his missions, Ichigo takes the help of his friends who have their own unique abilities. Things went on and Ichigo managed to attract the people with his abilities and skills. On the whole, we liked the character too much!
Okay, little tittle-tattles about my favorite episode, the second last episode of the fifth season of the series. Did you catch it; it was entitled ‘The Wailing Bount! The Last Clash’ and aired on April 4, 2009. Here, we saw that with help of his doll, Kariya produced electricity and used it to attack Ichigo. Very surprisingly Ichigo took control of his body and the fight continued between the two until Ichigo manages to defeat Kariya, and concludes that the latter had intentions to go to Soul Society, to end his eternal life.
