Knowing Bleach characters: Part 1

Bleach seasons depict a mind-blowing storyline that is forwarded via a league of perfectly penned downed characters. Most of the times Ichigo Kurosaki, the main protagonist of this anime series hogs the entire limelight. Hence, I thought why not shift the focus towards other key characters shown in various Bleach episodes. This post is my foremost effort in this regard.

Let’s start with Orihime Inoue. She has been a classmate of Ichigo since long. Their connection is facilitated via mutual pal Tatsuki Arisawa. Unfortunately she had led an orphan like life since the blossoming age of just three. Her parents used to inflict mental trauma on Orihime and her elder brother Sora by making them a prime target of their anger & abuses. Put off by their inexplicable mannerisms, Sora vacates his parent’s dwelling along with his infant sister and takes her entire responsibility upon himself. Sora’s untimely death in an accident while Orihime was still a middle school student leaves her bereaved. Although she used to be a normal girl but with passage of time she gains out of the world ability to reject fate making her one of the most powerful characters in the universe of Bleach. Her voice act in Japanese version has been undertaken by Yuki Matsuoka and in English version Stephanie Sheh gave her contribution.

As the Bleach seasons progress, her attachment towards Ichigo matures into true love for him. Orihime looks absolutely stunning in her long hair. She possesses abnormally large breasts which are often used as a medium to project humor. Her head is also larger when compared to other characters. Her personality embraces humor, friendliness, compassion and a sensitive side as well. In spite of being a brilliant student at school, her actions often reflects a certain degree of immaturity. As a cook she is even below average. However, her great expertise in martial arts and spiritual powers cover up her inherent follies.
